Fundraiser Event – Saturday 21st March 2026

Please see details of this upcoming fundraiser at St Peter’s Church, Gildersome. A wonderful cause supporting Bexley Wing and Dementia UK, with tombola, raffle and plenty of cakes. Please share and support if you can 🌸

A green and light blue poster titled “2025 Christmas BIN Collections – 21 December to 4 January.” The poster provides revised bin collection dates for Leeds during the Christmas period. A table lists new collection days based on the usual weekly schedule: Monday collection: Sun 21 December and Mon 29 December Tuesday collection: Mon 22 December and Tues 30 December Wednesday collection: Tues 23 December and Wed 31 December Thursday collection: Wed 24 December and Fri 2 January Friday collection: Sat 27 December and Sat 3 January Saturday collection: Sun 28 December and Sun 4 January A note in red text reads: “No change to collection days from Monday 5 January onwards.” Additional information at the bottom says to put bins out by 6.30am and bring them in when emptied. Household Waste and Recycling Centres are only closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The web address leeds.gov.uk/recycling is shown. Two illustrated bins, one green and one black, appear in the bottom corner.

Christmas Bin Collections Dates for Leeds 2025

From Sunday 21 December to Sunday 4 January, bin collection days will change. Every household will receive a leaflet with the updated dates. You can also check your collection day at www.leeds.gov.uk/mybinday or by using the Leeds Bins app.

A note at the bottom says donations will be collected to support local causes. The poster includes a small logo for Morley MOT and Service Centre with the words “Brought to you by” above it.

Santa is coming to Gildersome – 2025

🎅 Santa is visiting Gildersome this December! He’ll be touring our village on Monday 15 December from 6pm and Wednesday 17 December from 6pm.Check the posters for route details and timings so you can catch him as he passes by! Brought to you by Morley MOT and Service Centre.
