Leeds Local Plan – Make Sure You Have Your Say

It was fantastic to see such a brilliant turnout at the Gildersome Parish Council public meeting held on 2nd September 2025.
Following the meeting, we have compiled some specific local knowledge about sites, generously provided by you as a community. You may wish to include these details in your objections and comments, as they provide valuable evidence of the likely impact of development on our community.
✅ A reminder: please visit the Leeds Local Plan portal and submit your comments before 15th September. Everyone aged 13 and over can send in their own response – so make sure you get yours in and encourage others in your household to do the same. Also, don’t forget to make friends, family, and neighbours aware so they can submit their responses too. Every single response counts and will help ensure our community’s views are heard loud and clear.
Could we kindly ask all residents who submit objections to Leeds City Council to also copy the Parish Council at gildersomepc@gmail.com please. This will help us to keep track of the number of objections when Leeds informs us of the final totals. Thank you!
