And the winners for the 2024 Scarecrow Festival are…

Joint 1st place – Number 1 – Chester the Dog and Number 18 – Mission Impossible receiving £25 each

3rd place Number 49 – Buzz Off receiving £10

Congratulations to the winners and a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who took time to make a scarecrow. They were amazing.
The answer to the Find theLetters Competition was – The Wheels on The Bus
A little girl called Farrah won the prize of £20.

Table Top Sale Details

This year’s Table Top Sale is on Sunday 23rd June which is also the same day as the Scarecrow Festival. We hope that the mixture of scarecrows and table tops will work well together.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer some of the grassy areas due to the Scarecrows, but will try to help those who need to find somewhere more central in the village for their stall. These will include grass areas near the Griffin, Park Crescent and Scott Green. Other areas may become available nearer the time.

We would also like to encourage you to make a Scarecrow which can use to advertise your stall. If your table/stall is on the Scarecrow Trail route, then that will encourage visitors to your stall. If you are not not on the route, you can add a poster/stake to your scarecrow to give the address and charity/group if applicable.

You need to register separately for Scarecrows and Stalls.
