Have your say on future housing development in our village.
The Parish Council has prepared a template letter and guidance notes for anyone who wishes to comment on the plans. Please feel free to use them to assist, but it is essential that you edit it, adding your own comments to make it personal to you. It will carry additional weight if you do so at the beginning of the letter and at any point throughout. It will also ensure that it is logged as a separate comment by the Planning Department.
Reminder – Don’t miss your chance to comment on the Leeds Local Plan by 15th September 2025.
Leeds City Council is consulting on proposals that include building new housing on Gildersome’s green fields. We encourage all residents to have their say. If you oppose these plans, make sure your voice is heard before the deadline by submitting your comments to Leeds City Council.
Could we kindly ask all residents who submit objections to Leeds City Council to also copy the Parish Council at gildersomepc@gmail.com please. This will help us to keep track of the number of objections when Leeds informs us of the final totals. Thank you!
